UPWC organized two protests in Hebron and Nablus in order to demand the application of the minimum wage law that was approved by the Palestinian government in August 2021.
Dozens of women, activists & human rights defenders took part in the sit-in, stressing the need to implement minimum wage laws, calling on working women to speak out to expose establishments that do not comply with the law.
A campaign was launched, calling for the application of the minimum wage resolution, especially in light of the rise in prices, to educate and encourage women to claim their rights, and to reduce unemployment among them.
