The program fulfils the second strategic goal of UPWC in which aims to activate women’s political participation, raise awareness on accountability in women’s protection and fulfillment of social, economic and political rights.
In This program we seek to raise women’s awareness on their rights of political participation, to take on leadership positions in their communities and to improve the level of women’s participation and representation in civil society institutions, parties and organizations.
In addition to that, throughout this program we seek intensive awareness raising on women`s rights that all national laws, human rights laws & national agreements states such as: CEDAW agreement, through implementing various trainings & workshops and building initiatives that address multiple phenomena that arise in the Palestinian community and has a negative effect on the population`s behavior and detracts women`s rights.
